“This Is God’s Will…”

It’s just so simple!  Why have I never seen it before?

Yesterday morning as I finished my Bible study I noticed these verses at the bottom of the page on my journal: 1 Thess. 5:16-18.  We always quote John 11:35 as the shortest verse in the Bible, but 1 Thess. 5:16 is very short too. “Rejoice always”.  The next verse is only a little longer, “pray continually” and then verse 16 continues with instruction and a reason why.

It is so simple!

1. Rejoice always
2. Pray continually (i.e. talk to God in everything)
3. Give thanks in all circumstances

And it continues to say “For this is GOD’S WILL FOR YOU in Christ Jesus”.

So if this is God’s will for my life then I am convinced that if I do these things I will have a massive attitude change and hence life change.

So simple!
