Well, chaps, here we are. The first of July. The first day of the second half of the thirteenth month of the century. A year the Mayans didn’t even think we’d reach, which just goes to show the even the folks who invented chocolate sometimes make mistakes.
On this auspicious day, I have decided to launch a challenge. Because I love challenges. I’m OCD like that.
UPW Tip of the Day: “My philosophy is to “kill the monster while it’s little.” The best time to handle a “negative” emotion is when you first begin to feel it. It’s much more difficult to interrupt an emotional pattern once it’s full-blown.” Anthony Robbins.
Here’s the challenge: for the next thirty one days I am not going to say or think any negative things. And I am going to consciously say and think positive, encouraging, life-affirming things. There are Bitterness Monsters creeping up, and they’re growing stronger and stronger every day. I need to nip them in the bud, and what better way to do that than to start while the problem is little, and can be tackled with such positive, life-affirming tactics.
Who’s with me?
